Sandy Brondello Named Head Coach of the New York Liberty
Experienced WNBA Coach and Former Olympian Returns to the League

The New York Liberty announced today the appointment of Sandy Brondello as their new head coach. Brondello is a highly respected WNBA coach and former Australian Olympian who brings a wealth of experience and success to the franchise.
Brondello has a proven track record of success in the WNBA, having coached the Phoenix Mercury to two WNBA Championships in 2014 and 2016. She was also named the WNBA Coach of the Year in 2014 and 2017. As a player, Brondello was a three-time All-WNBA selection and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020.
